Funny little machines
To launch the N900, Nokia are running a competition to see who can come up with the best hack using the phone’s Maemo OS. To get people thinking, they commissioned Hyper and Tinker.it to build a few; like the Speak & Spell where you can send a text message from it.
And speaking of beautiful silliness, I loved this Rube Goldberg machine which works using RFIDs so that none of the components need touch each other.
